The OnePlus The OnePlus Nord CE 2 has now started receiving the latest security patch from May. OnePlus has already rolled out the May Android security patch to a bunch of its devices. Now it’s Nord CE 2’s turn to join the May security update list.
The May update for the OnePlus Nord CE 2 is currently limited to Indian users. However, other regions will also get the update soon. Users can identify the update with its new version number IV2201_11_F.54. As per the changelog, the latest update only includes the July patch of May.
Moreover, the OnePlus Nord CE 2 was introduced with Android 11-based OxygenOS 11 out of the box. The device was eligible for two OS upgrades and three years of security updates. It will receive security patches until 2025.
How to download the May update for the OnePlus Nord CE 2 manually
- Go to the Settings
- Tap on About device
- Click on OxygenOS version banner
- Download & install (if the update is available).
