There is a carrier network in the US called Verizon that has started rolling out the latest security update for Galaxy Note 10 devices. Verizon officially posted it on its software update support pages for the Galaxy Note 10, Note 10+, and Note 10+ 5G.
Galaxy Note 10 May update details
In the official post, they mention that the latest update brings a May 2024 Android security patch. It also improves the system’s stability and performance. It is possible that the device has some internal software problems, which is why the company released an update to resolve them.
However, last year, Samsung ended software support for the Galaxy Note 10 series. And now these devices have started receiving the May 2024 update. Currently, the update is spotted in the US only. Last time, the Note 10 series device received an August 2023 Android security patch.
The update is currently available in the US on Verizon carrier-locked devices. and users can identify the update with their version numbers N970USQU8HXE1, N975USQU8HXE1, and N976USQU8HXE1 for Note 10, Note 10 Plus, and Note 10 Plus 5G, respectively. If you are a Verizon-locked Galaxy Note 10 user, you can download the update manually if the notification does not appear by heading to Settings, then tapping on Software Update, and finally downloading and installing.
