Samsung to feature a new camera mode, ‘AstroPortrait’ for flagship devices

In terms of Android smartphone UI or tablet UI skins, Samsung’s One UI is a very popular Android skin. A couple of days ago, Samsung started rolling out its latest One UI 6.1 update with many improvements, including camera improvements. Samsung always tries to provide the best user experience for Galaxy device consumers.

In the latest rumor, according to the Android Authority, Samsung is working on an Astro Portrait Mode for its Galaxy devices. A high-end Samsung Galaxy phone comes with a popular camera app, Expert Raw. Expert RAW works fine to capture detailed shots and has some interesting features too.

It could be possible that in the upcoming software update of flagship devices like the Galaxy S24 Series, Galaxy S23 Series, and high-end Foldables, the Asto Portrait Mode will be added to the Expert Raw app.

A couple of months ago, Vivo launched its latest high-end device, the Vivo X100 Pro, which comes with this Astro Portrait mode, so it is possible that Samsung could bring this feature to its high-end Galaxy devices to counter the Vivo X100 Pro’s Astro Portrait mode.
